When you challenge someone, do you play random maps or do you “stack the odds” (one way or the other) and pick a map based on your opponent and chosen team?
I have been going with random maps but I realize others may have favorites or tune matches without me knowing it.
I kinda like having to deal with whatever comes up with whatever I got. It’s the Jerry-Rigs way! (sorry)
I always play random maps, part to keep myself on my toes, part to not get bogged down in the intricacies of just one map out of the ever-growing amount of them. I haven’t really considered using the map against my opponent, but most of the people who know what they’re doing usually have a secondary deployment option if they’re not comfortable with the way the map works for their primary one.
I almost always go random atm. I am just beginning to think a bit more about which teams would work better or worse on particular maps but I quite enjoy the challenge of not knowing exactly where the fight will be. I’m not really a “win at all costs” kind of guy though so I don’t mind particularly if I pick a crew which doesn’t stack the odds in my favour on a certain map. I learn at least as much (probably more) from my losses as I do from my wins so I figure I gain something from every match, whichever way it goes!
If I was playing a tournament game in the future I might revise that thinking. 
I nearly always do random matches unless I keep getting the same map all the time
I only do Random makes it more balanced and fun. I hate it when I get tight maps with 2 snipers though. =/
