I think just making people die quicker when they’re downed would solve it. Right now, you need to spend almost half a mag to kill someone if it’s all body shots.

lol I can’t believe I didn’t just think of this but I feel like the amount of shots needed to kill some feels nice.

You want to know why they’ve done that?
As you said it’s a fast paced game, and you managed to kill one or two enemies. There coems their sparky and pef pef you’re suddenly dead by the ones you didn’t gib.
That 1.2 seconds they need to get back up helps you out! you’ve been killed, you had your chance. Now you demand insta heals?
Have that invulnerability shield be delayed on ranged sparks revives until they are actually starting to stand up in the animation.
That will fix a lot of the problems.
Just looked at the revive changes for this patch and I have to say i’m somewhat satisfied
Revive Changes
-Reduced the invulnerability window Incapped players have after dying to 366ms (from 800ms)
This exists so gibbing a player is a separate distinct action, rather than just continuing to fire while a body is collapsing to the ground
-Revive Invulnerability now begins once the player has stood up and can move
This allows players a final chance to Finish the revived player, just before they get-up
Players now spend 0.7s getting up after a revive (from 1s)

I was an ET player, and i remember that anyone stay “stuned” few seconds on reviving, its just normal for me, dont give me any annoying. the only problem for me is that in ET, when you reviving someone, you can use is body and invicibility for hiding behind, on DB, its not usable.
Lol just read it properly. Yeah the medic train is rather annoying right now. The revive mechanics doesn’t punish the revived player for bad decisions enough.
