I used to play Execution for the daily reward and missions. Now I just delete the missions and ignore the reward. Thanks for trying to add a new game-mode Nexon, but this just isn’t it.

It’s not the thing the game needs at this point. Instead of it we could’ve gotten a new SW/O map (and probably a blockout of the next one), a bunch of bugfixes and QoL improvements. The game would be somewhat polished. THEN would be the time to think about adding new big features such as a new mode.

I don’t hate the mode itself (it feels very shallow though). I just hate that it took resources from the core game.

so here are my reasons for liking execution…

1.) i like to use it to practice new mercs/combat mercs (i main medics usually so its a nice break)
2.) snipers and burst fire weapons are so good in execution. ill play alot of vassilli and arty :slight_smile:
3.) those credits the daily bonuses and the frequency of valuable mission (750+) entice me to play (credits are pretty much how i buy anything in this game)

no and most i know dont. here is what happens with all my mates on teamspeak every night.

“what missions you got ?” “ffs i got execution !” " not doing that **** " . that is mainly how it goes down.

what makes execution a chore is most people dont play for objecitves which i know isnt really they way in most public games. so you got one chance each round to basically take down whole team which you know you arent going to do unless tards are actually half decent.

there will always be some afk and all they do because rounds are short is vote no and often stay in round because there mates in and saves em. even though they arnt playing.

they just there to get some missions credit but afk whole round.

so yes the game mode is mainly a chore. plus only two maps.

Ima bit of both, i like it and all it is really fun but if you want to go just play that style just go buy CSGO, it jus needs a bit more of a yeah this is worth playing, i still enjoy though.

I like it. Its a strange mode for a fast paced FPS but it somehow works
It also allows a skilled player to really shine

to me DB is all about multiple objectives, Execution is not.

When a play execution it is to complete missions like many others, in other times i stay away from that mode.
You win with 7-1 or lose with 1-7, 1 game in 20 is maybe balanced and it is draw or 7-5/5-7. But on the other hand, i dont know if i would like it even if it was better balanced…just seems like the classes in DB just is’nt for execution.

I must admit I do enjoy Execution, and it’s interesting to see how different Mercs perform. Kira and Arty = super strong. Give them a go (or at least Arty as he’s on rotatoes) and see how you do. Look for sneaky points to call in artillery and the laser :wink:

I’ll say yes because it’s far more fun to me than 99.9 percent of Stopwatch matches (or as I call it, Unablancedwatch).

No neutral option? I think Execution is ok, it can be fun to play at times but its not what I prefer to play in DB most of the time.

Execution is a option to play something else than objective mode or “double objective mode” aka stopwatch, and IMO having options is a good thing.

No depth, one life rule is abysmal in a game like Dirty Bomb, everyone gets their abilities primed and ready at the start which leads to severe class imbalance, tried to copy CS but failed to implement anything that makes CS work, too slow.

Waste of time really.
