I hope not. Other than combat xp and execution all the missions can be done in 1-3 games which is nice. For me atleast

I would like to see missions like “Revive teammates X times”, “Restore X units of HP” or “Give X magazines” instead of Support missions, kills with different weapons instead of just combat etc

I see this coming up from time to time. Why do you want to make them more restrictive? Missions are a part of the F2P system of the game. Their primary goal is gating the amount of stuff you can get quickly and without money. Why do you, the player, want to make the system harder?

Generic XP-type missions are also good for the quality of matches. When you need to get support XP you can choose between a medic, fire support or recon - whatever the team needs most. Change the mission to “give X ammo packs” and I’ll be forced to spam ammo packs even if my team needs a medic. “Repair X amount of EV health” - restricted to 2 maps. “Kill X people with MOA” - well, my team really needs a Fragger but I got missions to do! Etc.

I guess some people need a goal to keep playing the game. It’s probably the same thing as with achievements. I also don’t understand that.

in my opinion current missions are very balanced except of execution…there we need a complete re-work.

Maybe if it was “Earn XP” rather than “Play x rounds” we would have less AFKs who just want to get it over with and more people actually participating.

i would like if they replaced the current system, i want to plat the fuck i wont not some aimee, because i have mission, i merc slot less for me, same goes for execution(that i hate and never do them) and stopwatch/obj mode

Honestly the ones that tell me which Merv to play are the worst. Medic exp with aura? Team has 3 medics? Oh well. Gotta get that exp. I prefer the earn 10000 exp in stopwatch/objective because than I can play anyone and I’m still completing missions AND helping the team.

Well, exec missions are indeed a pain kinda because they take long. Any stopwatch/obj exp mission is done in 1 game worth time usually while exec usually takes double if not more time than that. (One game worth time =15 minutes)

However, what i would like to see are little gimmicks to missions. E.g. if you have a supp-exp mission you gain additional XX credits for every revive you do or if you got a combat mission you get XX credits for every triple, XX credits for every quad and XX credits for every ace etc. . (Streaks aswell prolly)

Or maybe just implent extra credits for special badges without regarding missions.

Lol can you imagine how bad that would be? Team mates not actually playing or helping, just running around with their knife out to get rid of the mission.

@inscrutableShow I for one enjoy the rare occasion some1 tries to help me up when I’m the teams dedicated, but mine-magnetized medic. I just k out if the poor guy tries to help me up in sub-optimal situation and explain them in chat after ^^

But yeah if there was revive mission it should simply count both rez and helpups. Dont see the reason for this though, I think badges and possible future achievements already are kind of a “incentive” towards certain supporting actions. Missions are rather nicely vague atm, as you can collect i.e. support exp with variety of characters.
