you find it unacceptable that to leave work when they are done for the week ?
you stay at work willingly after hours and on weekends ?
you want to pay their overtime ?
it’s a freakin game not cancer research

Success holds in tight differences. That sort of mishaps is what prevented DB from turning into an actual success for 2 years of public beta. Their overtime would have got paid by itself if they resolved the problem before releasing the season 4 ranked. They’ve just totally crapped out the season 4 start with this and the number of cheaters there are already there. That’s pure amateurism. Valve has an issue during the week-end ? They solve it, even during saturday night. Yes, SD is a smaller team, but personally I consider unacceptable to see them just say : “we’re leaving things as is for the week-end”. Especially this very week-end.
I work in a car engine factory. That’s not cancer research either. But I sometimes have to deal with problems during the week-end, I’m not forced to answer the phone, but I do it because I like to help the people I work with.
I love DB and SD but I simply won’t eat the ice cream if it’s made of @$!#. I’m quite worried for the lack of involvement and I say it.
how nice, but irrelevant
they don’t work weekends, what you find acceptable is irrelevant, they’ll likely do something nice for the alleged “suffering” but it’s no big deal, augments are highly over rated
btw, IDGAF about Valve
The difference here is Dirty Bomb is one of their primary source of income. If they don’t manage to solve this kind of issue, this could prevent people playing their game, and probably prevent them buying micro-transactions. Meaning a loss of income.
I agree this bug is not a game breaking one, you can still play without noticing too much the difference. But will they do more hours that they’re supposed to do if a game breaking bug appears during a week-end ?
And considering we, players, are here supporting their game by buying mtx, you can consider we are actually paying their bills. So, yeah, they could do overtime during the week-end when this kind of bug appear, especially when they know its existence prior the week-end.
Unless Splash Damage is not the little company they want us to believe they are anymore…
