Because currently I can only find 2 minimum level 10 servers in US West where I live, and I believe 2 more in US East and one in Australia. And like 80% of the time they are always full and I can’t play them. Forcing us to play in just regular pubs with noobs or level 20s who can’t find a min level 10 server too. Speaking of level 20s, we should also have min level 20 servers too.
Do you guys think we should get more minimum level servers so veterans don’t get forced into lobbies with noobs?
Do We Need More Minimum Level Servers?
I just did a search, found the following - all min level 10 7vs7:
US West - 5x Objective, 5x Stopwatch - all empty.
US East - 7x Objective, 7x Stopwatch 1 full, others empty.
EU - 10x Objective, 10x Stopwatch - 2 full, 2 others with 1-4 people, others empty.
The problem isn’t not enough servers (though, granted, it’s lunch time on a Friday for US people), it’s just that they don’t seem to have enough people in them. If they were constantly full I’m sure we’d get more.
I’m not a fan of adding too many brackets for servers, it just splits people apart too much. A min level cap is fine since you expect people to have gotten a grasp of the game by level 10, but adding more isn’t the best way to go imo.
Yep, it simply takes to long, to have one filled up. You do quickjoin, get on an empty lvl10min-server as the first one, and you can see 2-3 people joining and leaving the next minutes.
When finally two to three people stay, and the server is running a map, it only takes about a minute to have it nearly completely filled.
Could be the masterserver probably not beeing updated often enough, so until there are more than 4? people on this server playing, the quickjoinythingy doesn’t even know it should put people there? Dunno, not my job, just observing.
I don’t have much more than anecdotal experience here, but something does seem off in low pop servers - I played a full game 1v1 a week or so ago and it just wouldn’t fill up, then a couple of friends joined and before the next game starts it’s full. Hard to say what the problem is, but either there’s an issue with how it assigns players, or maybe it just prioritises almost full servers over the ones trying to fill up.
Not really sure what to even suggest as an idea here, perhaps it’d be nice if it put the two groups of 2-3 people into one server, or gave them a prompt offering to merge them.

… I saved all the US West min level 10 servers and when I went on yesterday, they’re all full.
Right, I just thought you’d said you could only find 2, but there’s more there - if those were all full too, then yeah, perhaps time to get more than 5 for each game mode on the US West side. EU is more than fine as is, I think - not sure about US East, would need someone who plays on those during their peak hours to check.
Edit: Forums are being a bit wobbly! Mis-posted.
The problem is most likely your server browser filters. Open them up a bit more. If you have it set to only find servers with players in them then you will probably only find a couple of server. I have NEVER seen all of them with players in them at the same time.
There’s plenty of Min 10 servers. The problem is they all have very depressing 0/14’s tacked onto them. It’s a shame all the good players seem to just want to ROFL stomp lvl 6 greens.
I think it’s just no one wants to join an empty server. A cycle doomed to repeat itself.

When you have a choice of fair match but waiting a long time and not fair match and short wait, which one players would choose?

From the looks of how many players on the min lvl 10 servers, the second option.
Would like to see minimum level 20 servers, or even better; matchmaking fixed + addition of solo queue, where no premades are allowed.

First option definitely, better than being rekt and destroying fun.
