My fellow Turk, Turtle still isn’t officially out yet, because (as long as I know) his shield has some issues. But after so many changes do people actually need somebody with an ability like that? I heard people saying that it has no benefit and would only block paths. I personally think, that if the shield can stop an enemy EV, everybody would spam it and CDA would always be the winner team… I think once he’s out either nobody will care or he will be as hated as Thunder…
What do you guys think? Would you find any use in Turtle? Would you buy him once he’s out?
Do people actually still want Turtle?

An Engineer with a defensive ability (I’d prefer a bubble shield instead of the shield in game), but also high powered primary weapons and higher health would actually be unique among the class type. So yes, I am looking forward to him.

Nah, even if the shield yould stop the EV, fire supports would still be a better choice on defense IMO.
I’d say more mercs are always welcome unless they have 170HP, burst rifles and an OP ability… I think Turtle will have SMGs like the other engineers, maybe shotguns as well.
What I** want**, is a fire support with the Grandeur SR, even if she/he wouldn’t have a second ability besides throwing ammo packs.

No, we want Javelin instead. For an old school inspired game, it lacks RPG. 
Seriously though, Turtle is inevitably coming, since he was teased from the beginning in trailer. I too wonder how will they make his shield work, considering DB has changed from it’s slower paced, primal version.

Yes. But I also want him to not have the stock shield in the files, and on the other hand I also want him to be delayed by a year every time someone asks for him (just like Half Life 3).

get over it, the Valve we once knew is no more, with the profit from steam and them trying do develop their own VR tech we won’t see any games from them…

Good thing I don’t care about Half Life series, never got into it.
However I do feel the same pain. In my case it has to be Rockstar, how they became anti-consumer after jumping the shark (cards).

GTA V had red flags all over it, not to mention cancelled SP DLC (Aliens, Trevor, Zombies), all recycled into online garbage.
