Since the OW open beta release I’ve played quite a lot of it, mostly Torbjorn because he is similar to Bushwhacker. For those that don’t know he can upgrade his turret. This got me thinking would it be balances if engi’s could upgrade their deployables by using up another deployable so for example after 40 seconds (I think that’s the turret cooldown but don’t quote me) Bushwhacker could upgrade his turret to have a greater detection radius this could take as long to upgrade as it does for him to fix a secondary objective.
Fletcher could upgrade placed stickies to do more damage (it would take the same time because he starts with 3 stickies so he could upgrade it straight away) and proxy could give her mines a greater blast radius.
Just thinking here, but what do you guys think?

I feel like this would be catastrophic to have damage upgrades on stickies and a longer blast radius for proxy’s mines. Or upgrades on abilities at all.

sorry but no, none of that makes sense with the faster paced DB. IF your turret survives for 40 seconds you are likely doing something wrong and putting it in a useless spot. Upgrading fletcher sticky’s on the ground? seriously?

Ive been playing lots of overwatch too went to level 25 since the opening of the beta, and
just no OW and Db are 2 very different games. DB is more centered around your gun and your aim and the ability comes after. OW is really based around the ability of the heroes. If a Bastion gives you shit you most likely have to send his shit back to him with a genji a pharah–> needs a Widowmaker, OW focuses less on shooting skills
