Do Founders Packs give priority access to Closed Beta?

Do Founders Packs give priority access to Closed Beta too? Or does everyone have an equally fair shot at getting in? Just wanted to clarify since I recall the founders benefits stated alpha/beta priority as one of the advantages of paying.

If you bought a Founders Pack, you will get instant access to the Beta when it goes live. People who didnt buy packs have to wait to randomly get invited.

So does that mean, that the guy I invited to the alpha has no Beta acess from the beginning?

I think if they are on the alpha already then they’ll have access. Not 100% sure on this however.

Do PAX players get instant access, too? I played at PAX, and I got an email saying that I would be getting a beta code on or before October 1st. Is that true?

As I understand it everyone that is in the alpha and able to play already will have instant access, then everyone else that signed up will be getting in at some point but it’s likely to come in waves of invites rather than all on d-day.

I haven’t gotten a beta code yet, so unless they’re working over the weekend, it sounds like I’m getting a code on Monday or Tuesday.

If I don’t, I’m going to be pretty sad… :frowning:
