This is a follow up to a previous post where I mentioned kills not adding up to deaths. I’ve done some further research have found rumors saying that a combat assist will consider it a part on your part. My question is if you get a combat assist from a teammate finishing off an enemy, will you both get the kill?
Do Combat Assists Count as Kills for Both Players?
Only the person that get the actual kill receives it as far as I know. Like in every game.
Nope, it doesn’t count them if you’re not the one killing them. I can’t remember what game it was, but one I played had separate kill assists and critical kill assists, and if it was the latter one, both the finisher and critical kill assister got the kill. It was cool
Well since we are references other games, Battlefield 4: you need to deal at least 75 points of damage for an assist to count as a kill. Modern warfare 3 from call of duty: Hardline Pro says every 2 assists count as a kill. Same for Ghosts. etc. So its completely possible
I don’t need damage numbers after the “MAD DEEPS” maniacs I had to deal with in vindictus.
Which is one of the frustrating things about being a Vassili main where you just keep getting bodyshots and than your teammates finish them off and you end up with a bad KD and they blame you for being shit.
@Xavien it sounds like you’ve been having a hard time dude. Don’t worry it’ll get better. They’ll buff Vassili back up. Just hang in there.
Was wondering this myself, due to the Battlefield franchise rewarding assists as kill if over 75% of the damage was yours.
Seems not, as I expected.
