The question is in the title. Just a random thought. Is everything built from the new super material which is stronger and lighter than anything or what?
Do bullets penetrate anything in Brink?
is it ok to say “your mom” on these forums? if so:
lol your mom!
if not:
no. they do not penetrate any kind of material aside from mesh walls/structures such as fencing.
I think they penetrate Kevlar and clothing to certain extent.
They don’t penetrate characters though.
They penetrate bottles, glassware, and cardboard boxes. Go ahead and give it a shot next time you see one in a map (Resort and Terminal are good ones).

Good point they do “penetrate” all the chain link fencing like on Sec Tower and Refuel.
Im glad there isn’t a lot of destruction. Means we don’t have to go to a loading screen inbetween stopwatch rounds.
Actually they don’t, even invincible friendly units absorb bullets if they step in front of them. The easiest way to stay alive in a situation with multiple enemies is to strafe so that the one closest to you is in between you and the other enemy.
…Meh, I just like to think almost everything in the Ark is made of rusting adamantium. Except the important ones.
Nope, apparently every physical structure in Brink was built with being bullet-resistant in mind. Although it’s a good thing I think, for example, imagine how much more difficult it would be to plant the charge on container city if someone could crouch behind the door and just fire through to kill anyone who starts to plant, lol.
There does seem to be a surprising amount of bullet-proof glass on the Ark…

Before the dlc I loved to knife the planters through the gate. Now with the bayonet its even funnier though it takes bullets now to kill them off.
