Do assist counts as kills?

i just played a match where i made myself a challenge to not get a kill but top scoring as a sparks
(yeah i know it maybe easy for you)

i do hit people but i dont remember killing one, i got 5/11 and i did topscore

the question is does assist counts as kills or am i just not very good at remembering?

Healing people may or may not have helped a lot.

It doesn’t as far as I know, but if people you hurt suicided or died due to fall damage it counts as a kill, also did you plant c4?

yes but only 1 time

Assists don’t count as kills.

But if you hit enemies and the die from fall damage or K out, it counts as your kill.
And you say you planted a C4, it’s possible that it could kill some enemies as well
