Do, and should, credit boosters increase credits gained from missions?

(watsyurdeal) #1

If they don’t already, could they give a small increase? Like 10-15%?

(nokiII) #2

They don’t and they shouldn’t.

You guys never stop to amaze me.
You suggest and discuss extra unnecessary garbage every single day, while the game is in total stalemate, and can’t go forward at all.

@onLooSe welcome to nexon forums

In this game, there’s two kind of people. Those who play bronze loadouts and drowning in credits, and those who still gamble.

I don’t know if it’s their current aim, but I think that they absolutely need to aim the first category. Most people have clearly understood how the system work and consider that they’re well fed as long as they can craft a bronze for every 2 hours played. So well fed that we don’t have any interest at all in putting money or spending our credit mountains.

So in my opinion, giving more credits is just digging the grave deeper.

I don’t know why you guys are being assholes. @Watsyurdeal is simply asking if it should if it doesn’t already. I think there’s some merit to the concept.

@B. Montel what more can they do for players who are not going to put any more money I to the game? From a business sense, it’s not very smart to invest resources into things they won’t get much return on. Plus what would they even make for those players?

This is a F2P game. That means the devs need to insentivise people to spend money in order to stay profitable. There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s just business. The issue is how they monitize it. So far, Splash Damage has done a very good job as far as I can tell, but that’s another discussion.

Onto the matter at hand: should credit boosters have any affect on credits earned from missions? Credit boosters are a way SD incentives people to spend money. It makes the grind for credits a bit easier. However, the amount of credits you earn without missions can be pretty small, depending on your level of play. This can make the grind to get enough credits to buy mercs you want seem a bit daunting.

I may be in the minority here, but u like some grinding, but not a ton. I’m not really willing to pay $10 to unlock a new merc, but I’d be willing to spend a few bucks on a credit booster that makes the grind to get enough credits for that merc. Right now what increase credit boosters have on the credits I earn seems to be negligible. Either increasing the percentage boost they give in normal credits earned in gane or having them boost the credits earned from missions in addition to the percentage they currently boost normal credits would certainly make me more likely to buy them.

LOL.

Mind sharing with us what’s so funny about that @Jostabeere ?

I personally think that all their real money items are not worth buying them with real money. ALL of them. And fiddling with them is not worth either. Considering the nearly 1000 hours my steam counter says about dirty bomb, they could have received more than the 15 € I put into this game, and I would spend money, if I have real opportunities to. They have plenty of solutions to make us spend money. Currently they refuse to add them. That’s their responsibility, they’re totally aware and they already received plenty of ideas from the community that were actually better than anything they currently sell in the game.

Talking about credit boosters, having received 12 and 18 hours boosts through arsenal crates, I can definitely say that they’re more a shot in the back than a help, as they’re more an incentive to not spend real money. When you have plenty of credits you don’t need to spend your money in the game, just as simple as that. Putting them in arsenal crates is in my opinion a real mistake.

Because I cannot understand why people would have any urge to buy Credit boosters with real money to get to Cobalts when they don’t buy Craft kits or Elite cases to the cards easier.
I would not buy a credit booster even if it would give me 10 times the Mission Money.
