It’s chrismas why did the DLC aren’t on sales ? Maybe -50% or something like that ! i’m sure lots of people would buy.

They didnt seem to festive this year. hopefully since turtle is last of the original mercs and docyard release is pending there focusing heavily on a huge release event. Raziel did say that they were buisy on other projects for db and wouldnt have time for the christmas event this yr im sure this curent event was a side project sobthey had something.

Isn’t Javelin the last “original” merc? So we have Turtle and than Jav after him?

There really wasn’t anything special this year. We’re even lucky to have the new trinkets because I’m pretty sure they didn’t plan on making an xmas event until maybe like 2-3 weeks before release so they had to hurry. Maybe next event there will be a discount

@FrostyVampire javilin is a concept at the moment turtle was in the alpha builds not javilin turtle is like aimee they were both removed early and got reworks to be in curemt beta. Im.just woried turtles sheild wont be a sheild any more just like the 3rd eye got nerfed to the current snitch.

well the “DLC” is not a dlc it is a merc pack aka micro transactions. so like it or not those “DLC” are just in a way cosmetic. ill be honest the starter guys have the least flaws and are the easiest to get a grip on.

You gotta admit that 3rd eye was so clunky…while snitch isn’t exactly “OMG WOW”…it’s better than a clunky camera that would not only leave you idle to switch to it…you very well get nothing from it.

Whatever the 3rd Eye was supposed to be wouldn’t have worked well in this game. An actual camera wouldn’t be used all that much and would probably just distract people, and the concussion effect on destruction seems a bit OP.

I personally hope the shield is a bit restricted in terms of where you placed it. Blocking off an entire corridor seems like a bad idea. Imagine having two or three Turtles blocking off all flanking routes while that Aura x Rhino orgy gets even more cover.

Hopefully we can still walk through friendly shields too, I’d hate to have some noob block off one of my routes. Bad enough having to play with Red Eye.

They could keep it as the Third Eye but instead of forcing you to switch it would spot people and you would have a small square in one of the corners which will show you what the camera can see.
I like SNITCH more but the camera wouldn’t be “clunky” with some small changes like this

But that could very well be hard if not nearly impossible to do…plus a small screen would make it hard to see anything on…

they could have made [list]Merc Trinket DLCs…[]each merc trinket is Steam $0.50 or $10 for the lot[]Use skills to make 1k kills to unlock the Trinket and when it’s unlocked, merc trinket appears on the kill feed[/list]
