That facebook post on the DLC that was reposted earlier today directly referenced and linked to this article on splashdamage.com. Take note of the part in that article, dated May 27, where badman states " the Agents of Change DLC is just on the horizon, slated for release in June". Now go reread my original post; it might make more sense to you. I admit the cursing wasn’t necessary and I apologize for that.
Brink is Splash Damage’s game, and giving the public news about their game updates is Splash Damage’s responsibility. Regardless, there have been plenty of instances of big talk from SD employees about Brink that hasn’t been fulfilled (and reposting that article is just inexplicable…).

I’d reckon the DLC drops soon. I tidied up my corner of the Asylum so to be ready for the DLC. No need for more scratches on the wall. Its a few days away. :slight_smile:

While i agree there may be more people playing on the PC showing favoratism is not on the consoles. If anything its being held off on for pc because they already have an update we never saw.(referring to why the update didnt just release for the pc already and let the consoles wait)

With most of the issues being on the consoles now most of the players are leaving and thats why pc has a bigger following. i know alot of people who love the game and want to play competetively but there is nothing there for us.Sucks to be honest…But hopefully this update if it ever comes will get consoles up to speed with pcs.

FYI Xbox 360 had the largest sales and continues to experience population growth. I’m finding tons of full matches at various times of the day, much more often then when the game launched.

PC is not a closed system. The console versions have special codes specific to that copy in the machine.

They way PC players talk about SD, why should they? PC players by far have been some of the most negative and demanding players on the forums, and even when PC has received more updates than PS3 or 360, they still find things to complain about. Not saying all PC players are like this, it just appears overall the most demanding and butthurt people on this forum are on the PC, which is funny because people on consoles paid more for the game, yet PC players think they deserve more?

PC receives ‘more’ updates because PS3 and X360 are closed systems and have rules on patching etc. A patch can be pushed out on PC very quickly in comparison, which is why you’re seeing more incremental updates. The first DLC should see the changes that PC already has (that aren’t platform specific) on console.

Console consumers pay more for their games because Sony and Microsoft get royalties for putting the game out on their respective platforms.

Interestingly, I paid £29.99 for Brink PC. I paid £17.99 for Brink Special Edition PS3.

From what I’ve seen, most PC players don’t think they ‘deserve more’; they just want the game to be designed more closely to their platform of choice.

Deserve more? No but expect more!! I’m mainly a console player but if I get a game for high end gaming rig, I would expect it to be much better than the console version.

SD make PC games since they make games !
previous release of SD have some polish and have some big community on PC !
the first ever SD community is PC players ! So they just expect a games like the others made for PC
and not a consolised game made for console and port on PC ! that’s all !
they change all the mecanics for console players and just forget pc players

So SD lose a lot of the original Fan base on PC cause pc players expect some pc game
I understand console players are happy they never play a game like this on console !!
