I am still unable to play the DLC

I go to Game Utility Data, delete Brink, THEN

I have downloaded the DLC and then have had it installed, (NOW ABOUT 6 TIMES)

I leave the store, install the DLC box below the game (WHEN IT IS THERE, as sometimes it is not)

Then when I switch to the game and there are no extra maps, etc…

I am getting really quite annoyed with the situation. This is a console game and not a PC game and therefore installation should be simple.

PLEASE FIND ME A SOLUTION

Can you confirm that you do have an internet connection when you try to boot Brink the first time after downloading the DLC?

Can you confirm that the PSN account you are using to download the DLC data is also the one you are using to log into Brink with? (i.e. the profile you are using the play Brink owns the Agents of Change DLC).

thanks for your response;

  1. Yes - I have an internet connection when I boot up
  2. Yes, I believe so as I only have one PSN account

Could it be because of the following?
The PS3 is registered in Australia.
The Brink Game purchased in Hong Kong
I live in Beijing China

I’m afraid the version of Brink you have purchased is not compatible with the region of your console.

My Brink copy works fine, it is just the DLC that is not working
Does that mean I have to re register the PS3 to a different location?

I contact Bethesda and they told me to contact Microsoft China - which is really no help what so ever.

There must be a simple solution

OPTIONS

  1. CAN I BUY THE DLC AND THEN INSTALL AND PLAY IT???
  2. CAN I CHANGE THE REGISTRATION LOCATION OF THE PS3 AND THEN BUY IT???
  3. ANY OTHER IDEAS???

this cannot be impossible

Hi,

It might be a mismatch between dlc and game region. If the game is NTSC-J try creating a japanese PSN account and download from the Japanese store (if possible).

That worked a charm, was playing this morning.
Now I just have to learn the new maps, bit embarassing this morning
