Disconnected from every game that I join after a few seconds

During the launch of this game, I didn’t have any specific problems and I could enjoy the game. Unlike a lot of people. Ironically, each and every patch that gets released, things get worse for me.
It started with me being disconnected after a few seconds. But I could always rejoin and continue as normal. One patch later and I can’t even stay online on a server anymore and it even says that the server instantly gets full just as I get disconnected even though there are less than 16 people in the server. So I have to find another server.

After perhaps trying for 30 minutes I might eventually find a server where I can play.

I love this game and I am a huge fan of Splash Damage and I really want to keep on enjoying Brink since it is absolutely great.

So, that’s about it. Some help would be nice.

Also. Yes I do have the latest drivers and my computer isn’t from the stone age.

I had a Thomson TG784 and exchanged it to a Thomson TG789vn, now it works fine.
I have heard that this problem is common for some Thomson routers

EDIT: Did you try to open the ports?

Not yet. I haven’t had any luck finding the required ports last time I checked. Will do that again.
