Disarming C4 issue

Why isn’t there a key bind available for the multi-tool? There isn’t any excuse not to have one in a PC game. There have been plenty of times in matches where I’m unable to disarm the C4 because there is a pile of my wounded teammates laying on top of it.

Agree, trying to search through all the bodys is hard, but then again it might be a game mechanic, all be it a frustrating one.

This would definitely make the helping-up problem disappear. And add the possibility to use the blow torch for engineers. Let us kill people with it :stuck_out_tongue: !

As proxie, I plant a mine before I plant, that way if I get killed before or a second after I plant, I know the mine is there. Sometimes the “F” key regrabs the mine, and slow down my plant, and unprotects my plant.

while I usually hate it when a game has to many keybinds (keep it simple) this would indeed fix the C4 problem for good and would allow to decrease the disarming range again (less hiding posibilities ^^).

They raised the defuse box. You stair down at a body it might help the person up rather than defuse. But you can look above them you should be able to get the defuse. It’s not a perfect solution but it does work in most situations. Just look up a bit from where you’d normally defuse.

I use this to help me watch doorways while I’m defusing to make sure I can react if someone decides to try for a free kill.

In Enemy Territory Wolfenstein the Engineer could equip the pliers with 5. It was the only way to arm/defuse dynamite, build/repair objectives and machine gun nests.

I just don’t see there to be any need to have multiple functions on a single key bind for a PC game.

Since my last thread was considered a necropost I’m going to assume this one will be closed down as well, but both of my threads are still relevant because nothing has been done about them. The fact that moderators fail to see this is rather bizarre.

This is the wounded teammates fault, they should kill themself, obvs some people dont do this, so you lose the match, when they keep saying, help me up, revive me, etc

We can walk around with the defibs and shock people. :stuck_out_tongue: I’d love to stick someone with fletcher and run up with the torch to activate it.

I can’t diagree more on it tbh. Yesterday I tried to res a Proxy at the bomb and wasn’t even remotely looking at the bomb, yet the game didn’t let me to res and forced me into defusing.
