was on an ETPro server just now and the charge time for soldiers was set to 3000, everybody else 30000 - rapid fire mortar and panzer :wink:

you know, I really think that you guys should stop generalizing though. I have played on some really good shrub servers. Just because they are a shrub mod doesn’t meant that the instant panzer recharge, half medic damage , etc , etc … are turned on. TBH though, it was a good server because those were turned off.

And now that I think of it, the only feature that was on was the shove (and we all know that is necessary!). Corpse drag is an interesting idea…

In any case, you can find good games on a shrub server, just not the ones with goomba kills and that shit turned on (what the hell is binoc master anyway and why should i care?), which I think you are referring to when you say “shrub is shit”

I don’t really play on shrub servers anymore because they all have turned in to the "chaos non perfessional " crap that you guys all are talking about.

But really, it isn’t really where you are playing it is mostly WHO you are playing with.
Its not the mod, its the idiot admins that turn on all the crappy mod features.

funkPig, you’re quite correct in that it’s the Admins who set up the server, rather than the mod itself, that are primarily to blame for some of the weirder servers out there, but then “in general” Admins chose Shrub because it has all these “fun” settings. If they didn’t intend to use them they probably wouldn’t install the mod in the first place.

As you have discovered yourself, most Shrub servers usually provide a “chaos reins” type environment. Not all do, of course, but whilst there are so many other servers to choose from (like the 100’s of ETPro servers out there), I’m not prepared to keep joining Shrub server after Shrub server to find the few, the very few, that are set up decently.
