It says “Ignore Rumours and don’t spread them yourself,” “To date NO ONE has developed special powers and no animals are growing to gigantic size.” This is my new favorite poster.
We need a merc with some kind of super power that’s explained away by this.

The CDA is not as they seem…
Have you seen how smart AND strong Rhino is?

In all honesty, it is probably Proxy. She is using the radiation to treat that cancer.
Clearly it’s not working very well.

I’ve always seen Jackals as kind of a rebellion, against CDA for specific undefined reasons as of yet. Not as low-life cash grabbing thieves during the chaos after the Dirty Bomb attacks. There was an old mobile game, I can’t remember it, that was also designed by nexon/SD that had Sawbonez and Arty style characters in it and it had a loose storyline leading up to the DB attacks as well. No idea if it’s canon or not. But worth looking into if anyone remembers it.

There are some ideas and either flaws or intentional issues in map design and lore that fully hint that CDA and Jackals isn’t what everyone thinks they are:
Both CDA and Jackal use retired mercenaries that people don’t really care about. Think about all the merc profiles:
Redeye is a dishonorably discharged washed out military goer. Skyhammer failed an assignment miserably in the name of the Queen. Fragger has served his time, who knows where Thunder came from, and who really cares? Aimee no longer has a place in France, her words were even that Proxy ruined her life. Bushwhacker WAS a teacher, and Kira stole a laser pointer of doom and has used it to get out of paying college loans. People want these mercs dead, what better way than to seem them disappear in the radioactive wastes in London. Yadda yadda
Furthermore, CDA is government funded, and if they wanted to keep civilians out of their objectives, funding a mercenary defense is easier, and far cheaper if it means paying a public price. If Mercs see anything fishy, they’re paid more than enough money to keep them happy… usually.
Beyond conjecture, there’s probably some type of VIP or Weapon or extremely important data on the airship that’s crashed in Dockyard. You have to think about the bigger picture. CDA has a CONTAINMENT shield up around their base, with tons of stops all around London blocking both mercenaries AND civilians. They’ve spent billions if not trillions on that technology, and they’ve crafted a HEAVILY armored airship. What on earth is worth spending that kind of money and resources on by the CDA?
Also… I HIGHLY doubt the CDA is actually really concerned with transporting super radioactive waste on trains… Mission briefings, if you look at them. Rarely do the Jackals know what they’re getting into, yet on CDA, they’re accusatory:
As an easy example, why would the Jackals be interested in destroying the containers in Terminal if their clients really thought that rich information was in them:
"Our client tells us a gang of thieves have stolen two whole containers’ worth of people’s personal stuff from the contaminated zone: treasured possessions, pre-biometric passports, birth certificates, that sort of thing. They’re going to use the passports to forge fake identities, drain bank accounts, it’s identity theft on a colossal scale. You HAVE to stop them.

The future post makes more sense, especially considering how many people wanted to change identities after the DB attacks:

"Our Client has two containers full of archived evidence they need to extract by rail. Their enemy’s hired a team of Mercs to destroy the containers.

"Our client has recovered some important assets, they’re moving them out of the Hot Zone by rail through Waterloo station in two big rail Containers. Someone else wants those assets to stay lost.

Another thing to think about… Jackals and CDA are only known by us as Attackers and Defenders IN-GAME. But maybe sometimes the roles are reversed for the maps. CDA is actually Jackals on some maps. Otherwise, plot lines fall apart. Since CDA would be blowing up their own gates to get at defended areas.
Looking at Trainyard, Jackals have NO idea it’s actually radioactive waste, so is it really? If CDA is charged with defending it and not letting it get blown up… then they wouldn’t ever open those crates. And yet, when the train crashes in-game, we get datacores to transfer to a Jackal helicopter. CDA knows far more and is in deeper to the Dirty Bomb attacks than it’s letting the public know, and they’re using Defenseless Radioactive cleanup as a cover.

We’ve also overlooked the ominous MercServ corporation. Who are they, and how come they’re supplying units to CDA AND Jackals?

and what role does “Geezer” really play ?
