Dirtybomb Draft cup this sunday! Everyone is welcome.

Hello everyone!

I have been doing a bit of work recently getting some draft games together and we had some amazing matches and turnouts for these games! Many people have been asking me for some sort of cup but I have been a little busy with the wife giving birth this week!

I present to you all a new dirtybomb website aimed specifically at esports. While we have still a LOT of work to do we aim to bring you the best cups, leagues, streams and anything else worthwhile all to do with dirtybomb. When the game goes LIVE we will then be able to get alot of this underway. But for now please keep all game information on this website. As soon as the NDA is over you can spam the hell out of the forums and streams will be running as often as we can! (withshoutcasters!)

Pretty sure it’s better to just use the forums, since, you know, NDA.

It’s a form so I can manage signups. No information is given away hense why the player signsup are going to be on here.

nice, looks intresting!

I haven’t mentioned that signups are unlimited! Seeing as there is not a huge amount of alpha players!

Whilst it’s great to see you guys are keen to get playing the game in a competitive environment having the website up and explaining details of the draft tournament is kind of against the NDA. Even little things publicly viewable there could lead to people finding out stuff they shouldn’t or them believing things that maybe aren’t true.

As mentioned in another thread earlier today, if you want to run things like this right now you really need to do it via this forum or the PM system it has.

Thanks.

Ugh… don’t over do it this early. Keep things professional and private. The focus should be on exposing flaws and potential roadblocks for competitive play, no need for a whole website when there’s only a small handful of people involved.

agree with that

what is wrong with building up a website already, no mather in what stage the game now is? there is this dirtybombers website aswell?

There’s a difference when it comes to purely speculative website content ie Dirtybombers, and hosting an unofficial alpha event/private information outside of these forums. It is fine to be excited, but it’s going to be a long while before anything can actually be publicized so let’s just focus on testing the game and keeping things low key. There’s been a lot of confusion regarding the NDA lately and SD being as nice of people as they are still don’t want accidental leaks. Nothing wrong with having a website ready for launch, but just remember that’s going to be a while so gotta be careful .
