Dirty Cups Test Cup #2 - PixelTwitch VoDs - 1 Merc Rule.

So after a great test cup using the “1 Merc Rule” setup by the guys and girls over at DirtyCups.gg I thought it would be a good idea to upload the VoDs I recorded. Apart from the Grand Final, these games are all solo casts by myself. Hope you enjoy. The following VoDs are all 1080p and 60fps.

If you was to ask me what games do I think are worth watching.
I would say the finals without a doubt! That said BM vs F8 - Map 1 was great!

So was Lobby Boyz vs .ini - Map 2

I just want to listen more in-depth cast x) I always watch the vods of games to see what i did wrong, (dat terminal not suiciding / backing off too early Kappa)

ahh you mean cause I am rude enough to come out and say people messed up! I may do match annalist videos in future where I just look at certain plays. for instance why INI took that first map and what v586 could have done better. FishStix will learn more about the game over time and I think Inferno does some great calls as well.

Not rude, just down-to-earth more :hushed: . I think it’s good to be critical of the players. I don’t mind that and it gives more “realistic” image I guess. Like the way we lost terminal’s second objective was like 90% on me :disappointed:

Just being more realistic about the plays and when amazing happens the contrast is bigger so you can hype good plays more.

Casting in general is good, but this is just something I feel personally after watching casts in general.

One suggestion I’d like to offer is change the FoV of the camera back to default or something more normal rather than the fisheye look of what it was during the cast. If I had to guess it was somewhere around 100 FoV for the cast. I play with higher FoV myself in most games but when watching the games it looks odd and could be off-putting to some viewers.

Other than that I loved it and thought it was a great production that was well cast. It’s a maturing game and people don’t have many games under their belts right now so it’s fun to see what teams come up with and what kind of plays individuals can make or even screw up. That one team TK on chapel by Reptile I think with the airstrike was hilarious.

Just a quick note on the FOV, I believe that FOV is the lowest it goes unless spec cam is locked into a different FOV. I play at 65fov in game.

haha, sorry. I miss a lot of the action when trying to talk, control cam and watch all positions at the same time. I will get better :dizzy:

Is there maybe an alternate config file/setting that the game uses for Spectate mode instead? Might need to ask a dev on the Warchest forums about this or root around a bit.

Once the other mercs come out the highlander rule will be amazing. It’s 5v5 right? I’d watch the vids but I don’t wanna waste data. XD

I hope mercs gonna remain as limited 1 per team since I believe that’s just far more interesting.
