I have been waiting roughly a month (maybe longer) for this game to come out. Since I have nothing really to play, I have been playing Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies which one can obtain through Steam (It’s a program created by Valve [Corporation] for those who don’t know what Steam is).

Yes I am a “crybaby” for just wondering why Nexon/Dirty Bomb Team hasn’t released a date for the game. I don’t care too much for a beta key, but it would be nice to know, hey, we MIGHT release the game next year or I would even accept an, We have NO idea when it’s going to be finished but we probably think it’s going to be finished. Instead, Nexon lists next to nothingon this game on their site here: nexon.net/
All I’m saying is that it would be nice to know the day it comes out without checking these forums everyday (I don’t do that I would mention because I don’t want to waste my time). However, I check my email almost everyday and I would like to get a little headstart for once in a game by being one of the first people to compete since I haven’t joined a game within the first year of the release of it.
Now about those tissues…
Please bring them to me miss, I might make a few people cry.
the game will be in closed beta for a while in the new year, once Steam integration is complete you will see progress to open beta, social networks such as Twitter and Facebook may be your best avenue for information
well it was only said in gaming media that open beta will be 2015, but there isnt a specific date yet.
At least, now I know it’s going to steam. I should forget the 4 TB hybrid drive I want and save for a couple weeks and buy a gtx 970 instead (I have a gtx 650 atm). It’s too bad I want that extra space more and a faster hard drive, since I bought my pc like 3 years ago.
Have you used hybrid drives before?
If you are thinking about getting one for the first time just a word of warning, don’t, I’ve found them to have a ridiculously high rate fo failure, and don’t even get me started on RAID compatibility.
Go for a GPU/SSD upgrade instead.
Don’t want an ssd, I need a lot of storage for things. let’s just put it that way. I don’t think you can get a ssd with 4 tbs yet and if you can, it’s not worth the price. I would much rather buy a 7200 rpm hdd over a 1 tb ssd because I can’t afford a 1 tb hdd. If I was making more then 9.25 an hour and was making twice that, then I would buy one. Technically I make around 11.25 an hour with tips. A little more then that some weeks. I don’t think I’ve ever had less then 2 dollars/hour for my tips. Besides the fact, I’m still paying on some stuff, so I won’t get my pc for at least another 2-3 months.
Amd athlon II x4 640 processor @ 3 GHz.
Nvidia geforce gtx 650 with 2 gbs of gddr5.
8 gbs of ddr3 1600 MHz
Don’t feel like looking at my motherboard.
1 tb hdd 5200 rpm (Not even looking but I know it’s not 7200 rpm or more).
My pc is outdated severely. I would like to get a new pc. I would buy it piece by piece but that’s not the best thing where I live because I have no one to pick it up for me and I’m afraid someone will steal it. It’s not the worst place in the city but it’s not the best either. Don’t think there’s a safe place without an idiots around here unfortunately. This is why I have to get it premade and buy it from walmart.com. I will post the specs on another post.
Yet your PC should be more than good enough considering the system requirements of this game.
It’s difficult to tell what the system requirements are because of the fact there aren’t any listed. not to mention, this game is only in beta and I just really want to update my pc.
If you click on Sign Up For The Beta it lists the system requirements. Sure those are the minimums but they are ancient and really weak. Your system is a multiple times faster. And if you want to upgrade so bad go ahead, or you can wait a few months and get even more powerful graphics cards when they launch. Even if they are more expensive the older cards will become cheaper.
@softLettuce I am pretty pumped right now. I really can’t wait to build my new pc. I’m going to use some the existing parts from my old pc (I tried to update the bios in windows aka bad choice) because I wanted to use my 4 tb hdd and boot from it. The updated bios would have allowed me to use UEFI. Unfortunately, it failed, and instead of buying the same motherboard, I am going to build a whole new pc instead. This is what I’m planning on buying:
NZXT Source 530 Case
Arctic Silver 5 High IntensitySilver Thermal Compound
ASRock B85 Anniversary LGA 1150 Motherboard (6 gbps SATA [4 ports] and 3 gbps SATA [two ports]) It also has 5 PCIE- X1 slots, I have two cards that use this so I can use 8 more usb 3.0 ports Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit (I hate w8)
Eight 120 mm 4 packs of fans (Two four packs)
Noctua NH-D14 CPU Cooler
That’s what I can buy tomorrow hopefully.
Then all I will need to buy is an i7 4790k @ 4 GHz (4.4 with turbo) . I could buy a 4690k @ 3.5 GHz (3.9 with turbo) and get damn near the same performance, but I wish not to mess with voltages to get it to 4.4 GHz.
I have just bought a 4 tb 7200 rpm 6 gbps hdd from Western Digital, so I can use that as my hard drive. I’m also planning on using my geforce gtx 650 (until I can afford a 970), and then I’ll use my 600 Watt Power Supply and 16 gigs of ram.

I just built my new PC, and the GTX 970 is awesome. Good choice. I would try to maybe go for a 700W PSU or higher, that’s just my opinion though. I went with a Corsar 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular Power Supply.

I ended up getting the i7 4790k @ 4 GHz. I have 12 usb 3.0 ports and 4 usb 2.0 ports. I have eight fans in my pc + 2 on the graphics card and two on the power supply. I’m using my gtx 650 since I don’t have enough money to buy the gtx 970 and I probably should buy another psu since I’m using a crappy 600 watt psu. 16 gigs of ram on this pc is nice.

Seeing as how some games are 50 gigs, I’d have to buy a pretty freaking expensive ssd if I wanted to fit all of my games from Steam on it. That’s why I have my 4 tb wd drive. The disc speed rotation is unknown though 5400 ~ 7200 rpm. It’s faster then my old drive (Btw, it’s my boot drive [UEFI] ).
