Dirty Bomb uses up an incredible amount of CPU

Why does it use upwards of 64% of processing speed? This game runs on UE3 which isn’t all that demanding.

I currently use an i5-4460 at 3.2GHz. I’d post a picture of the CPU usage but apparently linking is not allowed.

It doesn’t matter if it’s not optimized, it shouldn’t be maxing out my CPU usage.

64% definitely is the max because it maxes out my CPU usage to 99%.

UPDATE: I’ve found the source of the problem. One Frame Thread Lag (Interval) absolutely eats up CPU and after turning it off the game has gone down to a normal 20-30% CPU usage.

What does “One Frame Interval” even do? One would hope that it was chewing up those CPU cycles for a reason.

I assume more fps at the cost of latency
