Just noticed that team members are blue so it’s all fine as it is now - ignore my comment on that one.

But also just noticed that all your killed ghosts are staying through the match - nice one! :slight_smile:

Edit: ghost only stays sometimes, so probably a bug with removing it on respawn in some cases.

That’s a good point on the terminal construction - there is no message at all now so I never realised it was done until it was done. This was never a problem before, just the planting obj’s.

Having local alerts or sounds easily fix that. Also, you can see it’s getting constructed in the overall progression bar, but it’s so small it’s easy to miss. But as I said, I like the lack of global alerts.

There is one of the HUD marker under the icon, same for EV health. Also I think the big blue bars at top move as objectives progress.

Yeah I was in yesterday and went up to the terminal to repair it, and nothing was happening. So I asked globally “Did they remove the terminal objective” “You guys already built it.”

Oh… had no clue. I suppose the destruction objective icons should have helped but I missed the notification

(Also to reiterate, there was never “so and so is planting at the objective”)

Yeah noticed them on the objectives now, and the global one is also showing it so ok as it is now, I guess.

I just played Waterloo, it showed a message when the terminal hack was completed.

As I was saying, when it was done. It needs the ‘x is hacking’ notification so the defenders know its happening. Having said that, that is the current objective so they should be doing that anyway :).

I actually really like it without the notification, as previously suggested a sound effect of someone hacking when in the vicinity of the objective is a much better idea.

There are a few more than that, but I thought they said they need to redo the clipping stage or something.

Actually, there is one irritating flaw with the current HUD. The EV icon is right over the guy in the turret at least in some distances, so shooting anyone who is on the EV turret is a pain

The best update we got so far! Good work SD!
I see some good improvements, especially with the movement. I also like the class symbols and the health bar gives a good hit feedback. But like neo said, I prefer the health bars to be removed in replacement with decent hitsounds and some visuals like, something turns red around your crosshair if you hit.

It does feel smoother, and proper objective markers, finally!
But sniper rifle is still mute.

And I positively hate to rebind everything.

I really hate the Fops 1 weapon. It’s supposed to be an FNC rifle right? Those weapons are known for being able to dose single-fire really well. Can’t we just have a gun like that? Just like the Rockstedi in Brink.

I like the health bar change, which enables you to see enemy player health. Helps alot in detecting how hits work. For pro matches i would not like this to be enabled. It is too nooby friendly, which is not a bad thing itself. Maybe it is possible to enforce this as a global setting from the server, so you can turn it on or off on demand. I am sure there will pop up comp server cfgs of some sort, this would fit in those believe.

As for the icons, yes, they look good. But i rather have a nice command map with objectives displayed there. Probably one of the reasons Whitechapel was removed because the icons stacked pretty hard there ^^
