I would really like to spend money on the game, but not in that magnitude. I expect some value in return, and this model is built in a way that you can never spend enough.
If I want a skin, let me pick it ffs. Also, skins are half the price of the full merc.
I can’t help but to close my wallet, even if it’s not going to matter as people keep pouring money at you, and if they don’t, you’ll pull a nice EA and shut down the doors.

Agreed that the skins cost way too much. $5 for a silver loadout(Most likely pull)? o.O Hmm… a merc or two silver skins… If you got to PICK the loadout, but got a random rarity it might be worth it. MAYBE.
i really want ability to trade up those Obsidian Cards with other players “Card for Card” … i got a Proxy i don’t want her i would like Red Eye or Vassil
Is there an issue with Steam right now or perhaps the calls from the game to Steam? I am attempting to purchase Rhyno and I am getting stuck on the add funds screen. I click the button to add the funds I need and it doesn’t do much.
-Update- OK, I was able to purchase him after I closed out of the game and opened it back up. Weird.
Well, @MissMurder this update seems to have confirmed my worries.
While credits earning has been improved, the real money prices for boosters / cards / mercs is too damn high.
I hope that prices will drop by at least a factor of 2 when the game will be fully released…
Otherwise this might repulse a bunch of new players from playing this game.
But overall It’s great to see new contents for this game, keep up the good work (but think about your monetization system ) !
Great Update…Rhino unbeatable…you need 2 mines or 2 airstrikes to destroy him…soo stupid…plz more from this…tztztz
In general, the uodate is a great improvement. The only things that I still have issues with are the pricing of items with real currency and no way to downgrade cards.

Everyone using cheap gaming-headsets instead of good headphones? Kira’s orbital strike makes my ears hurt after a while, especially when the just fixed soundreverb is bugged again…
I’m not sure if people realise by how much the credit gain has been increased with the new missions every 3 hours… In turn we got a bunch of cosmetic options which are really expensive. That is pretty much EXACTLY what people have been asking for all this time.
Also the ability to buy specific bronze layouts directly is important for competitive play, just to rule out any issues of somebody being stuck with bad luck. This has also been asked for, and can be ignored by anybody who doesn’t like it.
Of course that still leaves the unique silver and gold loadouts… Hopefully they will not be a significant factor, and if they are, they should IMO be rebalanced to not be.
Just when I thought it was impossible to make the loadout card system worse… THEY DID IT!

You’re right the credits have been greatly increased.
But I think that the real money prices are not really attractive, though I understand the cash shop is currently being tested.
The credit boosts are completely worthless relative to buying a merc straight up. 50k credits /20hrs (approx 18hr boost for 7.99) equals 2500 credits per hour.
Meaning you’d have to earn 41.6 credits every minute to get a merc for 7.99 instead of a straight 9.99 purchase.
I tend to get around 350 credits for a 20 min SW match. That’s 17.5 credits per minute. Let’s call it an even 20 and for me personally a boost is overpriced by a factor of two, if not more.
Anyone have a different experience, math or solution?
We’ve been looking at player feedback/issues all day so thanks for leaving your thoughts here. We will update you as soon as possible!
What I think about this patch:
- Kira’s orbital strike is OP on some maps, duration of laser should be smaller.
- Rhino is moving too fast.
- Why we have untextured dome in quick join? Are You planning prototype weekend?
- Everything is overpriced, do permanent sale -50% and people will buy these stuff more often.
- Competitive needs improvements: If whole team leaves a match, the other should be forced to win, I waited 8 minutes without enemies xd I can’t believe there is no merc draft with one merc rule. People are playing 4 fraggers + medic or 4 medics + bushwacker etc.
I like the patch alot but I still think there is one thing that is currently totally useless: the player levels! They’re just an indication of how long someone has been playing the game, but there is not a single unlock whatsoever.
I’d like to see some sort of reward other than a little cash or the access to certain parts of the shop or access to competitve. Like chosing to get a rare loadout card for a certain merc and even for instance every 10 or 15 levels the ability to unlock a merc. That would be rewarding for all the time spent on the game.
Also regarding competitve: it would motivate me more to play if there would be a reward according to the rank I achieved during a certain period of time. Like a scaled credit value or loadout cases after every week or two.
Otherwise, seems great. Keep up the great work.
Yes a limitation concerning the merk you can use in one team. And teamkill would be nice;
Personnaly today i did some game but i was not equal at all. The max level in our team was 12 and the average in the other team was 15 with one guy at 31. 5 PLAYERS playing in teamspeak. I do think maybe because no one does have rank, it’s normal atm but will change with time.
