Dirty Bomb Premium

([MDK] alpha) #1

I think a Dirty Bomb “Premium” feature would be nice.
You buy premium and can access all mercs for the time you have it.
Time/Price must be good - for player and for nexon but i think it could be a good idea.

Just thought about it and yeah…

€dit:

Besides that, it would be nice if anyone can test a merc for one day. Than everybody could be sure to buy him or her.

Well, there’s the rotation where we get 3 mercs for several weeks for free, which is plenty of time to test them out and try them in different squads/gamemodes.

As for premium, why bother? Save up credits or just outright buy the mercs you want and you have them forever, rather than subscribing and spending x amount per month for access.

That doesn’t work with the system as it is cause you’d be able to unlock them while in premium and then stop paying premium when you have them all, which would mean a loss for Nexon. If you want a lot of mercs buy the ultimate starter pack you’ll most of the mercs then.

You can test any merc you want if you have the patience to wait till it’s on free rotation.

So no you wouldn’t get to keep them.

Personally I wouldn’t be interested in a premium option but I don’t see any harm.

At around a little over 450ish hours I could have all of the Mercs. I’m not exaggerating either.

About 7 more weeks (40 hours a week), and I could have them all. That’s only 49 more days from today.

Right now, there are in this game :

  • A free merc rotation
  • the ultimate starter pack which is bargain in regard of the time you’d need to grind to get access to all of this stuff
  • merc bundles, which are less attractive but are still good value for money
  • credit boosters
  • the possibility to try merc on a local game if you can fiddle with the console. This is the only thing that’d require some improvements in my mind. A local testfield map would be awesome.

That’s plenty enough, isn’t it ? And I’m not mentioning cards/loadout related stuff.

That’s not what he means. You unlock them with credits, then stop paying for premium. Then suddenly, Nexon is boned.

i dont think premium as a suggested is a good idea however premium as it is done in a lot of other game might work. pay up in advance to get access to all current and future content.
sure nexon would earn less in the long run but they would ensure money up front which is important for gaming companies. but of course. it would just be a super deluxe starter pack tho.

If they would add something like that it would be a slap in the face of everyone that bought the previous starter packs.

both yes and no. yes if you want the new one. no if you dont want the new one.
but i understand your point.
they could simply solve it by giving owners of the first pack a discount.
But its all hypothetical anyways. i doubt they will add a premium pack.

Wow. EA really is good at advertising.
