Dirty bomb or overwatch?

So this is about 2 things the first being have you been play overwatch more than dirty bomb or the other way around, the second being which graphics do you prefer. Lets get right into it:

  1. I know i have definitely been playing overwatch way more than dirty just because it is new and this happens with new games for me, but how about you do have overwatch or if so do you play it more or equally and if you don’t have overwatch are you gonna get it?
  2. Which graphics do you prefer cartoony slick looking graphics or realistic modern war graphics. Along with that, do you prefer games like overwatch with there graphics, characters and just how everything is fantasy so to speak, or do you like modern FPS which relate to the real world?

Sorry this isn’t a poll but i do not have the ability for polls yet XD

Overwatch is so different from DB that it is basically a different genre. For me it’s DB all the way, but that’s like if I said “I prefer RPGs to RTS games”.

Also DB doesn’t have a “realistic modern war” graphics style. It’s closer to it compared to OW, but that’s not the same.

I have both games and already bored of overwatch, it doesn’t have the same fun as dirtybomb for me (guess i love the fast paced action way more).

And as for graphics they aren’t too different, both pleasing.

I honestly can’t understand why dirtybomb isn’t as popular as it should be, might be just my kind of game (<3 unreal engine).

Can’t really stand OW, uninstalled the game 3 days into the open beta. Gameplay is as crappy and utterly unskillful as a MOBA, character design is dull, map design is really bad and objectives are uninteresting, mostly “stand in this large rectangular area” while I’m used to crashing trains, escaping in helicopters, stealing airships and causing buildings to collapse in DB.

It just depends what you’re into. I’m playing OW, mostly just because every man and their dog is, and all my Dirty Bomb buddies were into it, so I was getting sick of playing Dirty Bomb by myself. But I will still main Dirty Bomb and I am still playing Dirty Bomb daily.

Personally I’m not a fan of OW. It’s slow, gimmicky, too much wizardry, fairly unbalanced, and some of the characters are just plain annoying. Some of the characters ults just really bug me. The spawn system is a little zzz as well. Takes so long to get back into action most of the time.

I’ve always been into FPS games that are fast paced (usually the faster the better) but most importantly for me, I like games to have a rewarding movement system (strafe jumping, wall jumping, long jumping, all of the above etc) and heavily reliant on good aim. I’m not the smartest player and probably never will be, but I would rate my combat skills pretty up there, so I enjoy any game where I can thrash around the map and cause havoc non stop. I just can’t do that in OW, and it gets very boring very quickly for me.

Graphics wise, yeah what ever really. I’m not fussed on graphics style but I do like the way OW performs. For some reason though I had HUGE input lag on my mouse when I first installed the game, so I had to turn every setting on low and drop my rendering to 50 bloody percent to get my mouse to feel normal, so that’s a little annoying. Dirty Bomb though - Tbh the game runs like crap for me. I get lots of stutters at random and loads of screen tearing and what not, and I don’t really know why because my PC isn’t exactly potato. I thought it was just me but it appears all my mates get these problems as well, so maybe it’s just a general Dirty Bomb thing.

Dirty Bomb for sure, Overwatch isn’t one of those games meant for DM. It’s much more role based, and for that reason I find myself getting frustrated more by it.

I prefer DB gameplay but with all the annoyances in the game I prefer OW. Playing with my friends is a huge plus something that was difficult to do casually in DB.
