Dirty Bomb on macOS!

I think dirty bomb should be on macos! I play on an old mac, and this is what I’ve got! I do have bootcamp, so I can play on windows, but that takes forver to boot into windows. Could you guys just please make a mac version. If you do, you can open even more door for new people to join.

I used to play a small indie game called Viscera Cleanup Detail occasionally. The devs were very cool, they’d talk to the community a lot, particularly about trying to develop a Mac version of the game. Apparently it’s not easy at all. In fact, it took them over a year to get something still horribly buggy out for release.
DB and VCD both run on Unreal Engine 3, so I’d imagine a lot of the same problems would be involved. Sure DB has a larger dev team, but my point is, it’s not an easy thing to do.

And well, all things considered, most people who enjoy playing games don’t buy Macs. The amount of new players it might attract might not even be worth the time spent developing a Mac build.

If you want to play PC games, it’s probably better to just invest in a medium-spec PC instead of waiting for developers to maybe add in a Mac build anyways. DB isn’t the only game not available on Mac after all.

i find Apple products very bad overall

i was repairing the 2011 iMac couple months ago, it was a panful experience.

how many scr ew to open your normal laptop or PC? 5? 10? Hell, some only have 4 and the rest is just being hang on the tower construction

iMac? 68 screws. And they put it that way not because it somehow improves the product, they just made it that way to make you not repair the damn thing.

My quess is that they havent made all the features they want to Dirty Bomb. So they will wait for complete “release” to avoid all the porting hassle done after every update. They use modified Unreal Engine 3, so who knows, it gets even more modified before release.
