Regions are still tied to the operator in the territory, when it goes live it gets back to “normal”. Means yes, since NExon, destiny and so on are still the publishing partners which hold the license to publish in their countries

May I ask what you dislike about Steam?

Yes it will. I have a list of countries we support now in case anyone has questions about specific things. There are no plans to support Asia at this time, however.

This is tricky. I will get back to you when I have more info.

@Fictious According to our terms of use (http://www.nexon.net/legal/terms-of-use/) a user agrees not to modify the software. However- I’d say we would look into it on a case-by-case basis.

We are still providing the same servers.

do you know that players from other regions like myself still play in EU version, using VPN?
dont you think this whole IP bloking is out of date and redundant desision?
i am a part of ETQW community, some of my friends are a part of ET community. and we want to continue to be a part of it. but this IP block is damaging (i pay for proxy servers, the money that i could have spent to…Nexon maybe, hmm?) and i can see steam-blocking can be even harder to overcome, than nexon Launcher.

why do you not completely block the accounts then?
Or just forget this IP-block, and let players decide what region do they want to play, and what publisher they want to pay.

It’s mostly that I just dislike Valve, and I don’t want to be forced to use something they created. As much as I like this game, I dislike Valve enough for this to rip me from it. I would seriously rather use the terrible Nexon Launcher.

@Glottis-3D‌ I believe the blocks are in place due to legal reasons but we do try to support as much areas as possible. I’d also say never say never regarding countries we don’t support right now.

@Nyaaki‌ I’m so bummed to hear that. Really liked having you around but for the foreseeable future the game is gonna be on Steam.

Because if we’re going to have to run a launcher, Steam is the best out of the lot. Sure if it was up to me the game would run on it’s own. But still this is great news.

I have a question… I received 3 Keys for the beta last month but i am not able to play dirty bomb because its not supported yet in my country… when the game comes to steam i could now play it or theres still a region limit ?

Im afraid, region blocks will remain the same. Maybe over the course of time things will change but not yet, im sry. btw where are you from? Nexon does NA/EU region, Destiny Russia and some eastern europe states, Axeso South America.

ok so when exactly will we even be able to play the dang game again?? I see January but you cant even find dirtybomb in a search on the steam store. im from NA and it wont even let me launch on the Nexon Launcer so im a bit confused here

game is coming to Steam, you will need a key, it’s a FPS, check with Facebook or Twitter to stay up to date.
