whenever i try and start a game it just quits dirty bomb with no error messages

Depends on a lot of factors .
Which version of windows do you use ? .
Does your system configuration meet the minimum requirements to play DB ?

The problem is win 10 i think but the problems came with the update. I think i have to wait for the hotfix :tired_face:
