Dirty Bomb - Back in Business March 26th!

It’s time to mark your fragging calendars again because guess who’s coming back in just 1 week- your good friend Dirty Bomb! That’s right folks Thursday, March 26th is D – Day. At 9AM PDT/16:00 GMT Dirty Bomb will be back up for good. Yes, the game is still in closed beta and everyone who has gotten a key will be able to play. What’s more is there will be no more planned wipes! Hooray!

Not only is the game back but if you participated in at least one game during the last two testing periods you will get your hands on a Limited Edition Obisdian Loadout Card.
What’s next you ask? We have some cool info coming your way and we’ll give you the full scoop when we return next week.

Great news. Calendar marked. Looking forward to picking my obsidian loud out card up as well. I love me some shiny loot.

The only thing that ticks me off is the “obsidian loadout crates” but perhaps they’ll let you select from it?

Cause if it’s RNG it’ll be one sad display without a trading system.

Great news, I really hope party mode is back up, with improvements, and some more mercs too (Nader, bushwacker, phoenix).

And I really hope this forced mm fiasco is gone too, so we at least can play with our friends and clan mates on casual servers if not party mode are available, random match making is the worst idea ever, imo.

This is the final phase meaning the game will be up and playable 24/7 from here on out (aside from maintenance of course.)

Sadly it got pushed back due to a creative rework on the content of the videos. But there will be one most likely mid April to cover all the news and share some cool community stuff. I’m super excited!

Server browser will be available and Mercs will come back in future updates. The patch notes that will be released next week will give a lot more in-depth deets.

The plan is that there will be no more wipes. Period. but honestly there is a slim chance that may change. If somehow there is a game breaking bug that involves the progression OR on the bright side we may not wipe for open beta. I think we will have to cross that bridge when we get there…but in a nut shell- no more wipes are planned

You know those pesky duplicate Loadout Cards? Don’t get rid of them ok? :slight_smile: They will come in handy.

I strongly support no wipe for open beta. This way you can setup servers with level limits, so as to isolate newcomers from all the closed beta veterans.
