Differentiating between XP

My guess for the 3 types of experience bonuses namely Combat XP, Support XP and Gamemode XP is as follows:

  1. Combat XP - This XP is pure K/D I suppose, so Fragger, Nader and Vassili are better to earn.
  2. Support XP - Obviously the XP you get by healing, reviving and ammo I suppose. So medics and Sky/Arty are better here.
  3. Game mode XP - This has to do with engineers right? Primarily how much you contribute to the “game mode” like repairing, defusing, etc. So I guess Fletcher, Bush and Proxy are better here.

Is this correct?

combat xp - anything related to dealing damage to players
support xp - healing/ammo + stuff like ‘stick together’
game mode xp - finishing main/secondary objectives, repairing/blowing up EV, etc.

Combat - Red
Support - Blue
Game Mode - Yellow

Game mode XP is also given for guarding objectives (e.g. the wall in Terminal) and for damaging the EV (e.g. with Skyhammers airstrike). But in general, it’s easiest to get with an engineer.

Setting / defusing C4, repairing objectives and sub-objectives give game mode XP as well.

Remember that there are sub-objectives (bridges on Chapel, doors and gas halls elsewhere), and remember that EV’s and other objectives can also be damaged by shooting at it. If you hit 100 damage, you get game mode 100 XP for it. Takes a while, but helps if the EV is already severely damaged, but not broken down yet.
