Difference between the two (main) shotguns?

Not much of a shotgun guy. But occasionally I keep getting repeatedly shot in the face by someone who’s clearly knowing what they’re doing. I’ve noticed it’s always Remburg 7 and never the Hollunds 870.
Anyone care to enlighten my why that is?

Also, while we’re on it. What about Fletchers special one? Better? Or should be switched for one of the main shotguns?

Remburg fires 1 more pellet than Hollunds so it deals 96 damage on a full body shot against 88 damage from the Hollunds. I don’t like shotguns either but the Remburg definitely feels stronger when I try them out. Fletcher’s Ahnuhld is the weakest, can’t one-bodyshot even the 80HP mercs, but it has the tightest spread, longest effective range, fastest fire rate and largest shell capacity.

That is exactly what I wanted to know, thank you kindly.

Remburgh also has a wider spread so you’re more likely to hit, while the Hollunds has a tighter spread allowing you to deal more damage with a hit. The Ahnuhld does slightly less damage but has better RPM, range, and the less spread (might as well be shooting slugs).

as I run with Ahnhuld fo Fletcher. I can also confirm that the buckshot spread is way more narrow. Feels more like firing slugs, rather than buckshot.

Remburg fires 12 pellets x 8 dmg each.
Hollunds, 11 pellets x 8 dmg.
Ahnuld, 11 pellets x 7 dmg. The spread is narrowed compared to the other shotties.
