Didn't there used to be far more RTCW resources online?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I recall there being lots more RTCW resources out there than there is currently? I recall from lurking in the past that there used to be a lot more skins available, for example.

The answer is simple. Rtcw isn’t as “alive” as it used to be, but it’s hanging in there, which is a good thing.

I’m pretty sure there were more resources though, was there a main database that got wiped or something?

I recall a very good Hitler skin someone had made a while back for SP… can’t seem to find it anywhere now.

Well, Rtcw Filefront is (or was) a main database. I say was a database because there are many problems with the site now, such as broken download links and pages not loading properly or at all.
I also remember the Hitler skin for sp, but I don’t remember which website I got that information from. :frowning:

Hi everybody,

There were, of course, several websites about rtcw but they vanished. RTCW is still there. We love it and map for it when we have time.

Just to mention a few: wolfensteinx, bubbas, haradirki (in German), Planetwolfenstein, wolffiles, surface, and much more…

Regards

Yeah, many sites got closed (like my favorite Wolfmap.de), but there are few more that are still online that are pretty useful. Plus ones sd2009 mentioned above, I’ll add Wolfenstein4ever.
