when i was watching a recent video where there was multiple players and not the bots, the animation and movement was pretty smooth surprisingly. they looked a little glitchy and weird with that ai but with human players the seemed a lot better
did the animations get better?
cleans Blackjack’s monitor for him No…
That was a joke by the way before everyone jumps down my throat!

lol dude i wouldn’t take your opinion on anything
Obviously bots are gonna be a little jerky with sudden decisions in their movement etc.
But in the end… the animations are good enough.

Question related: We cant tell you for sure… The one time I saw coop gameplay it was rather fluent, the bots however are very twitchy and move odd. Sometimes an AI can even be stronger than the gamecode and create for human players impossible movement.
My advice, wait until the first online videos are out tomorrow. Brink is an online experience and I wouldnt give a lot about AI.

thnk you very much for your reply
ill get the game regardless of ho the movement looks
Yeah bots are going to be a little spazzy looking. Think about how they look sometimes in single player games. Then add in that these bots are AI and not just prescripted for events. I’d be twitchy too if I was trying to move in 3 directions at once.
I can’t tell how I’m supposed to take that, considering that the clapping was only to hide his utter fury in that scene.
flawless
anyway, as long as it plays smooth i dont mind that the animations are sketchy at times. I mean with all thats going on with the game there had to be some sacrifices, we do not live in a perfect world unfortunately and this means no perfect game, but Brink looks like it did not give up in its pursuit
You better make it a separate thread or this whole thread will get closed. Any material from games sold before the street date will cause a thread to disappear. And you should consider how much you respect splash damage before posting that material in their forums.
I guess blackjack means the official SD videos, where animations really looked smooth ;>
Correct me if I am wrong.

If that then definitely. Be careful with the leaked footage because it’s making discussions disappear left and right.
I think fixing the at times sad animations is out of the question at this point. It’s not just the bots, when players are getting hit they tweak out and then suddenly look like Thor took his hammer to their face when they get knocked down. Funny thing is, if the SMART system and awesome class based combat hold up in testing, I actually do not care about the animations.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAaoH5IgwJI whatch the guys who have ak 47 in their names they are the players, the video could be in better quality though.
You say that like it’s a bad thing. Every time I log on here I read 3-4 pages of new threads (and I log in in the morning an the evening every day). 3 pages of topics that if merged would probably only take up half a page… I say we post leaked footage in every new double up thread.
looks good to me. but the guy who played sounds like he’s tired as hell or depressed and just one step away from suicide.lol
