Diamond level cards?

So i was looking through the game files, found a bunch of things but the main thing that caught my eye was a rarity called diamond along side a couple mercs, i was wondering if anyone knew anything more about it?

IIRC, it’s an old skin, never used in beta.
Maybe some veterans can explain this better.

ah explains why thunder didnt have one, in all honesty it looks pretty cool, wonder why it was scrapped

so im guesssing the CA cards are the same, planned to be an event but scrapped?

I think it got scrapped because it didn’t fit the periodic table of elements.

All of the rarities follow this. And i’f i’m right, there’s another pattern:they’re all poisonous metals iirc.

Well, bronze isn’t an element.

Edit: And neither Iron nor Bronze nor Silver nor Gold are poisonous. And most isotopes are cobalt are safe.

Use the search function. this has been discussed endlessly. in short: it became cobalt.
