Devs - What's Your Plan?

I don’t think that it’s a secret from a public, that people (the same as I am) have a feeling of the uncertainty, when they see only prices and a video. Game looks promising, but don’t you think that it is enough?

You know, the good example of showing the prospects of any project is Kickstarter’s participants.

At the moment all the info on dirtybombgame.com can’t say anything useful on the question what this project actually is.
How could could people pay any money or any HUGE (like 200$+) money for something that they don’t know well? At the moment we could only trust to you as Developers with a name, but what could newcomers think about it as they know that Brink didn’t go well (but it was and it is good project still).

I hope you will bring some clarity in the near future.

Cheers.

Paying for something to get priority access with ridiculous prices.

Getting immediate beta access with reasonable price (30$ is fine) to support the game is more reasonable.

DB looks great though.

I’m not really a big fan of that priority idea, by the way.

As I think, beta test is a way to make the game better for masses in the future, so there should be a real selection for the Alpha/Beta phases for people who are really interested in making this game better, not just have a priority access to play it.

That’s what the pricey Contributor packs are for… those that want to have direct input into the development process.

I don’t mind paying for priority beta access, or any beta access, as most people given “free” beta access would simply treat it as a demo and not provide any feedback. At least if you’re serious about providing feedback paying for it shows you are.

I do agree tho that many of us have probably made a lot of assumption about the game, based on the trailer and the fact we know what SD have produced in the past. But if you never played an SD game before, or your assumptions for whatever reason are different from the norm on this forum, you might feel cheated if the game turns out not to be what you expected.

More information about game mode(s) and classes wouldn’t go amiss tbh.

As i already said, 30$ is reasonable price to support
the game and have direct input into the development process
before knowing how actually the game is+ of course having
beta access (not priority).
Sure they can offer more stuff and i’m sure that those
that will like DB will pay for extra stuff.
