Good Night, DEVS, how about put SOUNDS about spree, like " Rampage", " Dominating" , unstopabble , and god like??
I am from ET ( enemy territory) game that splash damage did 12 years ago, and its so amazing when you got this and you hear " unstopabble". I am from BRAZIL TEAM

I love Dirty Bomb!! How about :wink: ??!

I would love to have some cheesy voice lines, but it doesn’t seem useful at all atm, and there are much better things the dev team could focus resources towards.

actually the spree audio stuff was in mods, not vanilla and easily done in lua as well

more like getting sued by Epic.
Always hated it that this stuff showed up in every game/fragging vid. (honestly it brought a tear to my eye when I loaded up the new UT Alpha and finally hearing GODLIKE in its original context again).

That said it could be fun if we get a Dirty bomb twist on that.
And have the announcers for the different maps comment on your performance in their unique styles.

i.e. the trainyard dude (who tells you “you made it look hard” even if you just rushed the map in record time).
Be like “yeah not impressed” , “oh nice you killed everyone now do the damn objective”. “oh look at you covered in a shiny new badge”…

DB is objective and team based. This kind of thing distracts from that and you will see players trying to get kill streaks without supporting the objective. That’s probably the reason these don’t exist in DB.

Medals are already enough. We definitely don’t want to see players rushing for killstreaks while ignoring the objective. This said, I’m not against what @Gi.Am proposed : contextual voicelines from our boss or the merc could fit pretty well.

That would be awesome! Maybe just have a taunt trigger when you get one of the spree medals? Even that alone would be sweet.

To me, Badges are enough and the game is already noisy enough as it is.

Just give us Badges about Unstoppable etc.

Not in one life then, if you didn’t get the medal. Those medals are awarded for 15 second periods over the course of one life.

There is also an award for 15 kills and 30 kills(Overall). Might be one more higher than that. There is a list somewhere.

worth noting that these awards get refreshed with the achievement of the next tier.

If you score a triple kill in 15seconds, you now have 15seconds from the 3rd frag to score a quadkill, and 15seconds from quad to score an ace

I could just imagine them all passive-aggressive over it or completely Gordon Ramsey-ing it up

Kill the team, EV is on, “Its still works, fix that.”, “Is the EV Offline? No.”

Kill the team, C4 still on “Its still Beeping!”, “The bomb…No really, its still armed.”

or just a sarcastic “Congratulations”, “Kill-streak, La-Di-Da…”, “Do what we’re paying you to do please.”

As for mercs themselves, I’m guessing with one of ‘generic’ taunts, anything but their special ones.

its funny that you don’t get anything for that but if you crouch enough your character will play one of their taunts.
