Devs, can you PLEASE localize the store prices?

(MyPingIsHuge) #1

Everything is insanely expensive in my currency right now (brazil), because the prices are not localized. There’s no way i’m spending 1/10 of the minimum wage on a loadout.

Steam does it already for most games, why cant you? LET US GIVE YOU MONEY DAMNIT

(Nail) #2

don’t spend money, you can’t buy love (or buffs)
the only people who can take ANY advantage of different augments are the top tier comp players working as a team, a fraction of a second faster reload is one of the (imo) strongest augments and it just isn’t that big a deal, save up, get bronze you like for your 2 fav mercs and use the money to buy your Mom a nice gift

Same in Poland. That’s why I will never spend money on this game as long as prizes will be reduced based on average sallary.

One day the world will have a global currency… The dream.

This is a great idea! I could then reroute my ip traffic to those countries and save a bunch.

As Nail points out, the monetization model is constructed, so you don’t have to spend anything. The only reason for you to spend, should be to support the game.

Steam already does this for every game. But, lo and behold, you cant actually abuse the system like this. Did you really think you were the first to have that idea?

It’s a free-to-play game. The developers need money to buy food. If people dont buy stuff, the game dies. Do you understand that?

(Ghosthree3) #7

Lol no, I can tell you without doubt that I pay USD and the store does not offer AUD. So I end up paying almost 150% the price.

I work with an Australian guy and he told me that pretty much everything gaming related was ridiculously expensive there and most games were around $90-100 AUD which includes digital purchases. Something to do with taxes. I know Brazil has some crazy prices as well that are astronomical where the region around Russia has crazy low prices.

You can actually. And it’s easier then using decentralized encryption on your communication.

‘buy food’ lol. The ‘company made human’ analogy is really getting old! Spend or don’t spend! It’s not about tricking you, it’s about you spending some, if you have the means and want to support the game. If you just want to play the game, but never spend, that’s is fine too, because you are supporting the community, just by playing and sticking around.

(Ghosthree3) #10

Yep, pretty much. Any new AAA release is $100 average these days.

(MyPingIsHuge) #11

Cant even ask for a way to support the game withouth people bitching about it, sigh.

(Ghosthree3) #12

Well you’ve made your request directly to the devs, all you can do is wait for an official reply, no one else can give you any useful information.
