map coords consists of 2 keys
max and min
and if its an acutal map you gonna need other numbers
0 128 is from the tut of a box I think
mapcoordsmin 0 128
mapcoordsmax 128 0
means that the bottom left corner is at the coord x=0 y=128
and the top right corner is at the coords x=128 y=0
when I try the limbo menu i get this in my console: unknown event: player start
and if I do with the worldspawn key: “mapcoordsmins” and value: “0 128” is that ok?
and yes its a box.
ok then
are you sure you got all teh defautl spawns?
axis allied, spectator, and the script_multiplayer
i dont know if i got the spectator spawn. I download the players.map from this site: http://www.pythononline.co.uk/et/tutorial03.htm
is the spectator spawn in there too?
btw thanks for help everyone.
yes it may be ok 1) if you already have a mapcoordsmaxs key with values and 2) the values are right. first u might try stealth6s values (@post6) if u r lazy to calculate the real ones based on the top down view of ur map in radiant, [off]however i havent ever tried what if i specify valid square coords but they are actually smaller (e.g. half or two thirds ) than my map. anybody pls answer this to me?

I think if you fill in smaller coords you bump into an ivivble wall, I think I did it once, but not sure.
Coords should actually be-
mapcoordsmaxs 128 -0
mapcoordsmins 0 -128
You left the - out stealth. Which is probably why he still can’t get on his map.
but how can i do both coords mapcoordsmins and mapcoordsmaxs? typ in value in worldspawn?
select a normal bursh press n then you come into the world spawn
type it in there yes.
key:
mapcoordsmaxs
value:
<x value> <y value>
Press enter
key:
mapcoordsmins
value:
<x value> <y value>
press enter
@DeatH: I’ve never used “-” before oO
I think if you fill in smaller coords you bump into an ivivble wall, I think I did it once, but not sure.
Ehr, no. You just run out of the command map.
This also happens if you don’t specify any mapcoords when using W:ET 2.60.
1)ty 4 the answers to my lame question 4 everybody; 2)@opp: no not that was
:S … personally i dont like the idea which already posted in many similar topics, namely to throw away the whole problem with upping to 260. i think a map should run on both ver., especially if its such a pity to make it able to do so. i would understand this point if there were several difficulties but its only 2 value to add…
and yes yes i know about security and “no one should play 255” et c. …
u may add the coords later
