this happened due to rework of weapons code in SS part 2

Part 3 of Summer Squash:
mostly focusing on preformance
overall lower framrate due to background assets/unoptimized assets
aiming for stable/smooth framerates
dx9 ex direct x update will improve GPU preformance
undating p[arts of the renderer as well as improving overall gpu usage, and texture streaminging
improve hitching

addressing hackers:
constantly updating the anti cheat software

Crafting rework:
no details yet
notifications will be put out plenty of time in advance before any changes are implemented
looking at the pros and cons of trading and crafting
balance of getting something that people will like/release reworks in a reasonable amount of time
the current system is not set in stone

no short term plans on fan dev kit
involve the community in making blockouts
and then having the map team work with people to complete the maps

directx 9x coming (think next patch). will highly increase low fps players and a bit too more with high end gpus.

Part 3 of Summer Squash, I already like the sound of it, never hurts to have more frames.

Does this mean less pressure on the CPU and more use of the GPU to pull higher framerates? If so, yay :grin: !

Really appreciated for those who are doing this. You are one of the best player in the DB. because you would spend time on passing the informations to the people who like myself don’t like to watch the stream.

So glad theres going to be hotfix. I was really worried that Fletcher bug wont be fixed until Summer Squash III.

Also, third Summer Squash looks really good so far, performance is one of the things that affects everyone, hopefully more people will be able to play :slight_smile:
