Aiming to release part 2 of Summer Squash this week.

Upcoming Changes:
Bugfixes and Balance updates

This stream mainly talked about the upcoming changes to balance, trainyard, and bug fixes. Not a lot of new information was put out besides this wall o’ text of bug fixes.

Bug fixes for part two:

  • dropped carryable is still visible in the incapacitated player’s hand
  • c4 could not be planted on a generator that had previously been destroyed by anything that is not C4
  • completing C4 objectives were not giving xp
  • c4 objectives not counting towards objective badges
  • one enemy remaining voiceover was counting incapacitated players in execution
  • loadouts cards could appear much darker than they should do in game
  • primary weapon could sometimes be equipped twice on a revive
  • thunders conc grenade was not fully blinding players, but is no longer full white, turned down slightly to prevent eye strain
  • debugged text appears when players stopped matchmaking
  • broken hand animations when downed at the end of a game
  • chapel where walking on the secondary ramps caused the client to desync from the server
  • attempting to fire would not cancel a c4 plant
  • clan tags would not appear in post game lobbyof matchmaking games
  • crafting kits and weapon kits would be hidden by default in the inventory screen
  • wrong weapon model would be visible when revived
  • IR goggles would not appear white while after respawing with them enabled
  • ir goggels could not be deactivated on low energy
  • martyrdom counted as a melee kill
  • molotov icons did not appear in death ghost info
  • molotov flames could not be extinguished by explosives due to terrain collision issues
  • player chat was not coloured by team in post game lobby of ranked games
  • players could join another game but remain in a ranked party
  • plays could not accept player invites from a party where a player left
  • sorting loadoutcards by dates had no effect
  • background images in main menu could start cycling quickly at random intervals
  • incorrect audio would play when attempting to reactivate phantoms cloak(cool down audio would play)
  • where the moving on up steam achievement would not be unlocked for crafting a loadout card
  • options menu would move offscreen when changing between 21:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios
  • where the screen would flash white when switching between tabs in the profile screen
  • weapon stats would overlap with the page numbers in the profile page
  • wrong colour could appear for player in chat in lobbys
  • where thrown iteams would not spawn when network conditions are extremely poor(packet loss)
  • where weapons could constatnly keep switching when trying to plant c4
  • a potential crash when the game is left o nthe front end for an extended period of time
  • where gaps were visible in the underams of some of the mercs
  • where fraggers trigger finger appeared broken in third person
  • where the rank mode unlocked post match award had missing text

More will be added upon release as well as some quality of life updates.

working on best ways to keep people informed about db news, the devs want feedback on things like the youtube videos the are putting out for news content.

OK, so it was a bug but they will intend this for preventing eye strain, yes,

Then how about the SPARE BUG?

Getting 1 more mag from ammo box or fire supports.

So is this bug or not. hmm.

nah they didn’t say anything on it, and I forgot to ask because I have maybe uh one loadout I use that has spares >_>

I was trying too busy trying to ask why they didn’t just remove healing falloff from the rev gun instead of buffing sparks’ medpacks <_<

(totally not biased in my priorities :3)

Well the bug is now you have spares in practically all of the loadouts even without the augment, if you resupply yourself from ammo crates or stations.

Still, shamed also I forgot to ask it as it was in my mind when I first saw Naxxus sitting there :<

Honestly @stayfreshshoe, I think it should stay (the extra clip) from ammo stations. It’s a nice extra for the station, I often find myself standing on them now instead of picking up ammo packs just for the extra ammo. Before this was happening I never touched ammo stations. I just saw no point since a pack gave you thje ammo instantly haha.

Agreed. They nerfed the reclaim CD to 65% so that we can’t place stations for ourselves or place it for team often.

Gotta stock +1 more mag to prevent visiting station often.

It would be nice to see some differentiation between the ammo packs and ammo stations besides people pretending to be turtle with the ammo stations :wink:

Ammo stations are great for drop and forget like at spawn or in a choke point while packs are better for moving.
One idea was to have some increased reload speed when close to a station because packs have a decrease of cooldown which is almost useful.

My story:

Dirty Bomb addict --> Average time spent --> Very less time spent --> Stopped playing dirty bomb.

Seriously, for me, the performance gets worse on every update, YES, i have a shitty computer, so I am not completely blaming anyone, but what once was playable cannot be played anymore is definitely a issue, at least for me. My FPS gets hit every time there is an update. Once i would play at 60 fps at ultra LOW, but now I get a 10 at the same settings (fluctuations to be more exact) and I don’t even have to mention the random crashes.
