Gotta admit, the PDP is overpowered as hell and most of the better players have been asking for a change to it for months now. Hell, I was talking with some people who played in the IML games and they said that the Redeye/Sparks ban made the game so much more fun to play, and I agree - the PDP is horribly forgiving, does a ton of damage at the same time, and requires you to risk nothing to use effectively, and Sparks is in the same boat still - a merc who can influence the flow of an entire game just by virtue of existing.
I hate the jump shot nerf though, that was nothing but another nail in Vas’ coffin, and I still don’t know how I feel about the possible MP nerf.
When looking at this bug, can you or someone please remind them that it isn’t just health packs. Ammo packs are doing it aswell. I’m sure they probably figured that one out but just in case they didn’t, it might pay to let them know.
Also nothing about the falling through the floor bug on dome? Hopefully that is addressed - It’s a game changer. Half the time people are planting the bomb underground and you can’t disarm it 95% of the time haha. Even if you go underground and it’s sitting in front of your face it just doesn’t register anything.

Meh i love this game because i love how sniping feels. But between the continuous nerfs to PDP, the nerf to sparks, the jumping sniping nerf and now nerf to machinepistols i don’t see much point playing much anymore.
I’d much rather see pistols be as viable as they are in Bad Company 2 (or in other words buffed) than see Machine Pistols get nerfed. Hopefully it’s just damage falloff range and nothing else.
I’d like to see jump shooting back, remove the stupid random scope-in offset as well as remove random scope sway. Why do we have so much random in this game? Please, remove all of it, it’s just annoying.
Yeah PDP was hella stronk and needed some adjustments.
What exactly should the PDP nerf be though? I’ve been thinking about maybe lowering ammo to 5 or 6 shots per mag, this way it can still do extremely fast cheesy takedowns but not wipe nearly the whole team.
Instead of nerfing the stronger augments to be in line with the underpowered one, why not buff the weaker augments to be in line with the overpowered ones?
If we nerf too much stuff then we end up just slapping each other in the face with limp, saggy fish.
Some augments are going to remain underpowered no matter what you do with it. Springy, try hard, pineapple juggler and cool are always going to be those augment that when you see you have them, you sigh a little.
Each to their own tbh. I love springy with a passion on any merc and try hard is handy if you are vs’ing a stacked team. Nothing better than a 120hp Proxy and a 150hp Skyhammer haha
I lost my fucking hope on this and my Phantom is now 100% unused.
I don’t fucking get why SD and Nexon don’t get their heads out their asses and finally fix him.
For last 2+ months the Mercenary section is full with Phantom threads and that he needs a buff. Yet the great devs need to balance their game in a better way and ignore a big part of them community.
P.S Yes, this is a salty rant and I dislike Nexon and SD for not giving half a shit about Phantom players. Better post in meme-threads or funny Sawbonez-threads instead of the sheer mass of Phantom threads.
Figures…never touched a Sniper before…but I’ve been experimenting a little here and there with a PDP Vas build…both weapons being nerfed…30k potentially wasted lol.
But Thunder is getting buffed…take the good with the bad I guess.
I would never place Springy next to Juggler or Try Hard. Come on, what’s the matter with you? Springy is brilliant for fast mercs. It’s Flying Pig that should get some tweaks instead. Flying Pig is very situational while Springy works for you all the time.

Ever seen a top tier player use the PDP? It’s why it needs nerfing. Drops people and gibs faster than either bolt action overall, with no risk and extremely little punishment for missing a shot. Once you learn to control the kick per shot it’s such an easy weapon to use.
