General:

  • Last week it was said the next merc may be pushed back into March, but there is currently there is no confirmed date for the merc release date.
  • There will be more information on the “trading in same-merc cards” removal, in the near future. It was removed as a ‘bug’ because it wasn’t intended to be active just yet.
  • The reproduction of the “invisible Kira laser” bug is very difficult, and the reason why the bug is so hard to fix. If you have any information on this - more specifically, how to actually cause it - please post on the bug forums, in as much detail as you can!
  • Reminder: There is still time to climb the ranked ladder to get the highest rank trinket!
  • Sadly, there won’t be any special Valentines content. It was decided against, due to wanting to focus on more important features.

Possible Changes/Updates:

  • “It would be nice for Phantom to get something - that has been on-going for a while.” - It sounds as though some good consideration has gone into some Phantom improvements. No further details on this currently.
  • Vassili could see some buffs, as the recent update saw him take a bit of a hit.
  • No updates or progress towards a colourblind mode… A man can dream! :frowning:

Extra Info:

  • As usual, Wednesday is a shoe. and RazielWarmonic stream!
  • Fun fact: The most played merc in ranked mode, is in fact, Proxy.
  • Smooth will hopefully be back on the stream in a couple of weeks time!
  • Raziel managed to get 2 cobalts, 1 silver and 1 bronze at the end of the stream FROM NORMAL EQUIPMENT CASES, including a C94 cobalt Phantom. She only opened around 15 cases. Yes… Chat lost their shit.

You should probably brace yourself for how long merc releases will take after the next 2-3.

I was telling that to one guy in game, and he replied: “If she needs a nerf, why is there no Proxies in comp, why is no one playing her??”,
I told him: “Well I don’t play comp anymore, so I don’t know”
and he replied: “Than you have no rights to talk…”

I just stopped conversation there cause if I didn’t, I would get seriously frustrated cause of things like that xD, but eh, now I would like to show him this info…

Anyways point of the story: “Playing comp doesn’t make you smarter!” :slight_smile:

Almost no one plays her in the relevant portion of comp, that is. How many top Proxy players are there anyway? Currently I can only think of Kingsley and WuT, there was also 42YnnaD but I don’t think he even plays anymore.

Comp mode and competition are not the same thing.
Hence they renamed it to “Ranked”.

Ranked mode tells us pretty much nothing about competition play.

On that matter, I am pretty sure the average Accuracy in ranked is pretty low compared to actual comp.

IMO, right now, Vassili and Phantom are priority as they are characters that people play and really needs fixing. Those are my 2 favorite mercs along with Nader and it just saddens me how much they’ve been nerfed.

After facing SICK6, even WuT (played almost exclusively proxy up to this point) said on his stream that he needs to start using Fletcher. Against hardened veterans, she really isn’t worth the squishiness.
