General:
- The next update should be coming out this week - however if there are any major bugs it may be delayed until next week in order to ensure a working build is released.
- Upon release of the next update, there will be a map “test weekend”, for both Dockyard and Gallery.
Dockyard:
- Dockyard is an Objective and Stopwatch map.
- The first objective is “Escort the EV”.
- The second objective is “Plant C4”
- Dockyard is on par in linearity with the older maps (such as Underground and Bridge) and less confusing than Dome. It offers some good side routes with tactical advantages, without the “maze” feel people hated from Dome.
- Secondary objectives appear far more useful in this map, than prior ones, with examples such as extending bridges and lowering/raising platforms for new access routes, rather than just opening or closing doors.
- The map has been lengthened significantly since it was accidently leaked in the game files by the addition of a second objective.
Gallery:
- Gallery is an Execution map.
- The map uses the same design philosophy as the 2 original Execution maps - such as the travel time between point A and B.
- It appears that the map has better marking for indicating bomb sites A and B, within the map itself. Whether these are temporary for the blockout, or will be used in the final build, is unknown.

I dislike that it has a lot of nothing out in the middle of nowhere that could have easily been cut to make a more natural flowing DB map while also still having the trick jumping design that the current maps don’t really have. If Dome was trimmed down while retaining a lot of what makes it good it would easily be one of my favorite maps due to all the mobility that you can use to your advantage.
