Destructible item?

I was wondering if someone could tell me the steps in producing a destructible item.

I have this poster here, and I want to be able to shot it and it blows up. I right clicked on it, hit n and set it as explode and set it up properly from one tutorial but it doesn’t do anything.

Any help?

Select your poster, right click on a 2d window choose “func_explosive” press ‘N’ then enter; key: health, value: 2

When ingame get close to it, you should see the fistbreakthingy icon and shoot it, it should break.
