Destroyable Floor

Hi! Im new here and i need help. How to make floor that destroy when walk over it?i’ve seen it many maps.

Question 2.Why my gtkradiant tilt when im trying to get it Prefabs :? Where i can download working version? i have 1.4.0. now.

You can try to make your floor “func_explosive” and give it a spesific “health”.
You have to put your prefabs in your “etmain/maps/”.
The 1.4.0 is ok version to use.

Yeah but that won’t make it crumble beneath you as you will need to damage it. You would need a trigger when you walk across the piece of floor you want to crumble.

Make the floor a func_explosive then get a trigger_multiple (I think) and use mapscript to make the trigger_multiple do an alertentity on the func_explosive when someone walks in it.

make a trigger_once. make the floor like it should be when destroyed. make a big brush that looks like the floor but not broken. make it func_static. select the trigger_once and THEN the func static. press ctrl+k and ur done. NO SCRIPT REQUIRED!

That will make the floor dissapear instant - in a unnatural way.
I would try dersaidins way.

But if you do it murkas way - i would change the "func_static to “func_explosive” and when you make the broken floor with the clipper tool - you can change the pieces you will remove to triggers.
