yep, you just need to make sure you have a power cable free inside your comp, or else take a cable off one of your disc drives.

oh and also you need a free IDE cable

If the virus is MSblast :

  1. Ending the Worm process
    Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete once.
    Click Task Manager.
    Click the Processes tab.
    Double-click the Image Name column header to alphabetically sort the processes.
    Scroll through the list and look for Msblast.exe.
    If you find the file, click it, and then click End Process.
    Exit the Task Manager.

One small request, I noticed there was a beta 3 out which I haven’t had time to test yet, but in beta2 this is still valid at least.

If you could just move the “location” of the map a tiny bit higher on the Europe map which is shown between games, as it is now the name of the map gets hidden under “Siwa Oasis” in case you have them on the same rotation, so all you see is “Deser…ta2”

(If I’m not making sense just let me know and I’ll show you)

Uhm. i don’t have that prob. And i don’t know nothing about an beta3???
Damn, this isn’t beach :stuck_out_tongue: . I had to format, so i lost my .map file. Now i decompiled it again, but now i got very much to fix so i won’t be releasing a new version soon. I’l just start on a new map, also a dual one. I think it will be in the snow, with a large river between and 2 bridges. One bridge is half broken so hard accesable.

Yikes, I misread the post on enemy-territory.com, sorry, it’s not beta3… :frowning:

If you run campaign mode, all maps in campaign will be shown in the Europe map between map changes, when this happens your map name is hidden by the Siwa Oasis map. Try joining my server “Billskirnir” if you want to see what I mean (locate it in browser, its on dynamic ip, currently it’s on 213.112.61.231, it’s quite often full but just wait a while and someone probably leaves, i.e. gets kicked for teamdamage)

Anyway, it’s no big thing, the map runs fine, people just don’t see the name of it, but then they’ll just know it as an anonymous map :stuck_out_tongue:

Ah well, never mind about this one, I’ll be taking it out of the rotation anyway since there’s too many soundbugs being echoed in the console whenever anyone takes the middle flag.
