I was cobalt 3 back when ranked matches first came out, i got up to cobalt 2 and then didn’t play for a while, the next game i played and lost demoted me to gold 4
I gave up after that

Had to climb back up. Doesn’t matter now that I am Elite, but it was a pain in the ass at the time. At least games were a bit quicker back then.

Demoted after winning, I think I’m more sad that I loss my progress as an elite. Going to play another match, I want to see if it continues to demote me.
